About
Pocket Arcade started as a group chat where four of us kept sending each other screenshots of games we'd stumbled on. At some point the chat got too long, so we built a small site to keep our notes in one place. It grew from there.,We only cover games we actually install and play. Nobody on the team writes a review from a trailer or a press release. If a game needs ten hours to open up, we give it ten hours before we form an opinion.,Games get picked a few ways: reader suggestions, things trending in the stores, and the odd hidden gem one of us finds at 2am. We lean toward racing, arcade and casual titles because that's what we love, but we'll test an RPG or strategy game if it grabs us.,There's no checklist that forces a score. We talk, we argue a little, and we write down what stuck with us. If something frustrated us, we say so.
