Driftline Horizon is the kind of racer that gets its hooks in fast. You tilt to steer, tap to drift, and the whole thing is tuned so that holding a long slide feels like the point of every corner. The sense of speed is excellent on a phone, and the city tracks are packed with alley shortcuts worth memorising.
The car tuning is deeper than it first looks. You're not just buying faster cars, you're trading grip for slide and top speed for acceleration. I ended up with a tuned hatchback I liked more than any of the supercars.
My one gripe is the catch-up AI on higher difficulties, which can feel a bit rubber-bandy. Otherwise this is one of the best mobile racers I've touched this year.
